Shipping Policies

B & D Mfg., Inc. retains sole discretion on carrier selection for all shipments. All orders are shipped prepaid* "Standard" unless another shipping method is notated. Standard shipments are either: FedEx Ground (Main), UPS, or Common Carrier; depending on the size and weight of your order. Express shipping options: 3-Day Air, 2nd-Day Air, Next Day Air. Due to size/weight limitations, some items are unable to ship express. All express orders will automatically have a delivery surcharge up to $50 in addition to the regular express fees.

*You may also provide us with your own FedEx, UPS or Common Carrier account number. Please keep in mind that our AR and NY Warehouses do not have UPS services. B & D Mfg., Inc. will prepay freight charges unless clearly notated with an account number and account address provided.

NOTE: Individual flow centers ship FedEx ONLY unless stated collect; all damages and claims are then handled through the account holder's account.
 
Express Deadlines:

Arkansas Warehouse - 3:00 PM Central Standard Time

Iowa Warehouse - 1:30 PM Central Standard Time

New York Warehouse - 1:30 PM Eastern Standard Time

Orders requesting express are not guaranteed to ship the same day as they are placed. In general every effort will be made to ship your order the same day however, there are limitations as follows:

  1. Items on order that are special order, out-of-stock or quantity only partially available. Special order Items are not stocked in our AR & NY Warehouses. These come out of the main warehouse in IA. Any backordered items will ship when they come back into stock unless a cancellation request is received.
  2. The order is placed outside our dead-lines or the express carrier arrives earlier than anticipated.
  3. Account is prepaid or on hold.

The warehouse is backlogged and shipment is delayed.
Ground shipments are not guaranteed to be shipped the same day as they are placed.  Please allow 1-2 day processing period. Above guidelines may apply.
Shortage or Damage
If your shipment arrives short or damaged you are responsible to notate the exact product missing or extent of the damage on the freight bill. If shipment was prepaid by B & D Mfg., Inc. you must notify us prior to carrier's claim limitations in order for us to file a claim on the product.

These are the factors that may incur extra freight charges after an initial invoice has been sent:

  1. Certain logistics involved with the shipment such as; residential address vs. commercial address, loading dock facilities, etc.
  2. Change of address: Carrier initiated or customer initiated.
  3. Brokerage fees, duties and/or taxes as these are to be covered by the customer.

No shipments are sent on Saturdays or Sundays.
